Abstract

 

The abstract shown was painted with acrylic paint on canvas using impasto techniques to create the heavy texture.

The painting was scraped into using various tools and was added in layers to reach the desired effect. Since the painting is large (approximately 4'x5') the photo on the right is an exploded view of part of the original painting to show the texture.
